Anyone reading anything into the fact David Haye chose not to have a shot during Soccer AM haha. Crap at footy or scared to injure himself?

He is probably just making extra sure. He doesn't want to slip and break his hip a week before the fight.

It's his big toe it's never been the same since the klitchco fight.

Fury signed with Frank Warren and back 9th June. Opponent hasn’t been confirmed yet but I’m looking forward to seeing him back in action.
Hopefully he’s the same fighter he was when we last saw him but I can’t help but feel this time away could really
affect him.

knowing warren it will be a knock over opponent Fury will be in with.

Certainly sounds like it from what he was saying in the announcement. 3 or 4 warm ups at least by the sounds of it which was to be expected I suppose.

I heard he was trying to get a fight with the winner of Charr vs Oquendo for the WBA regular title.

Thoughts on Wilder Ortiz? Bet on Wilder to stop him in the 10th so that was a bonus but his chin impressed me in the 7th. Did well to stay on his feet given how badly his legs were wobbling. Corner helped him out delaying the start of the 8th but he did very well to recover and stop Ortiz. I can’t see how the judges had Wilder one ahead though even with the 10-8 for the knockdown. Time and time again we get shown how the only way to secure a win for certain is to put them away in the distance. Shame.
Roll on the AJ Wilder fight providing he can come brought Parker.

He goes by the right name his punches are wild lol. Am with you there roll on the aj fight.
Aj will beat Parker a haven't seen anything from Parker to worry aj, a just hope aj doesn't come is as heavy as he has for his last 2 fights. The tacked fight am hoping aj was using it to get used of the later rounds. but agree Ortiz should of been a head in the fight but hey that's politics in boxing for ya.

Well done on the bet! What odds did you get on that?

Cheers mate, 12-1 but only slapped a couple of quid on, not a massive better but for some reason I had a hunch. Thought Wilder would stop him but knew Ortiz had a chin and would avoid being hit flush for a while so settled for the 10th.
I forgot about it and only realised when I checked my account haha.

I agree, he looks slow to me. Powerful puncher and a good jab but I think people are hyping him too much too early. He was brilliant against Gorman but equally Gorman didn’t fight as well as he can and is hardly world class opposition. He’s still very young and could go on to huge things in a few years but the people that say he could fight for a world title next year are deluded.

I felt bad for ortiz too but I think it was inevitable, we saw in the first fight that Ortiz didn’t have it in him to finish Wilder and he was always going to get caught with something big when he started to tire. That right hand is clearly very dangerous but I think the being perfect for 12 rounds thing is an exaggeration. If AJ had a perfect first few rounds then he’s definitely got the power to finish it early. The danger with someone like Fury is he doesn’t have the power to finish Wilder so he’s got to go the full 12 without getting hit with a huge right hand. AJ Wilder is the fight I think everyone would love to see, it’s bascially a case of whoever lands big first wins.

I like Till and was gutted with his last 2 fights. I think he took Masvidal for granted after he dropped him early. Till is huge at Welterweight so moving up was only a matter of time but Gastelum is a brave pick, if he wins he’ll be in a great position though.
Masvidal Diaz should be a great fight but I’m backing Masvidal for the win possibly by stoppage. The winner of that will fight for the title.

Kovalev isn’t the fighter he used to be and he’s going to have to win by KO because the cards will favour Canelo regardless. Kovalev is vulnerable to body shots of course and I don’t know if he still has that hunger. Make no mistake, he’s got a good jab and still hits harder than anyone Canelo has faced so this won’t be easy but Canelo will win this for me, and I agree he could well stop him with a body shot.

Canelo doesn’t stop GGG even now, his chin is out of this world. Canelo would win on points but we already know as long as the fight goes to the cards Canelo gets the win regardless of if he actually won the fight. GGG would have to stop canelo to win and that wouldn’t happen so a trilogy is pointless either way.
