Well what a night what a performance from Fury, I did not think he was capable of that kind of inside fighting. He bullied Wilder from the first minute, pushing him back and Wilder couldn't adjust. He didn't know how to box going backwards and became frustrated and confused after round 1 while fury looked so relaxed. I would not call Fury a massive puncher or anything now but that aggression last night was immense and if he can mix his boxing attributes with that aggression he could have the full package.
Wilder just looked out of his depth. Could be a blessing for him because he needs to ditch that trainer who is a cheerleader imo.

Good to see Eddie Hearn calling for an immediate unification fight, I'm sure Dillian whyte will be happy to hear his Promoter saying that. If Wilder doesn't take up the option of the 3rd rubber match then whyte should be next for Fury and possible unification early next year.

Tyson fury is a freak of nature, too be that big an move like he does is just amazing, not only that he showed all of his skills boxing on outside working his way in and man handling wilder using his superior weight on the inside, just pure class . The gypsy king is back were he belongs at the top of the world!

I thought the referee was poor. I hated the way he was grabbing the arms of the fighters when they were tied up. Thought he was giving wilder extra time to recover on every opportunity he could.

I'm pretty sure Dillian is well aware of where he stands in terms of fighting for a title. If Joshua can't get the unification, he'll try get them to fight with Whyte.

I do feel for Whyte, but when you're promoted by the guy that promotes the biggest attraction in Heavyweight Boxing, you need to understand your role. He also understands the politics in Boxing, which makes me believe that Whyte is willing to accept the situation as long as he's getting fights, getting paid and Eddie is at least trying to sort out a title fight.

I mean there really isn't much you can do, when the WBC are playing "musicial mandatories" and shifting people around for fun. If his gripe is with anyone, it's the WBC.

He was offered the chance mate to fight Joshua b4 Ruiz and he turned it down mate said the money wasnt right. He could be world champion now instead of being stuck on the shelf.

I get what you're saying, and yes he did turn it down. There was more to it than money though.

Whyte wanted a full training camp, as the last time he fought Joshua he didn't prepare and came in with a long term shoulder injury. They are fierce rivals in and out of the ring, with history that pre-dates their Boxing careers.

From the outside and with hindsight it looks like a bad decision to not take the fight, but I wasn't surprised as there is so much pride at stake. It also doesn't make sense to host AJ vs Whyte 2 in Saudi Arabia, that's a Wembley fight for sure. In my opinion everything about the timing for them to fight was wrong.

Whyte is just in an unfortunate position, where all the belts are between 2 fighters, 3 with AJ and the last 1 formerly in Wilder's hands.

I understand that mate Whyte wants a fair crack at Joshua and I do like whyte he can be very funny, but imo he likes a good moan and is constantly banging on about how the heavyweights champions r ducking him, while he was offered the rematch at Wembley with Joshua for April 13th which he turned down saying Fury was offered twice as much as that.
Whyte is a half decent heavyweight and without doubt deserves a shot at the title but imo he wouldn't beat any of them, including wilder and Whyte and Hearn know it. Hearn doesn't want to give him the rematch with Joshua because when Joshua beats whyte again that's him done as a ppv fighter in the uk.

Whyte has come out and criticised Hearn for pushing the unification fighting instead of his mandatory but imo he needs to leave Hearn, he's getting treated like a fool. Hearn saying now Whyte is WBC mandatory so if Joshua and Fury have a unification fight now he's next in line, what a load of crap. There will be rematch clauses and other mandatories that r entitled to their shot at AJ so Hearn is pulling the wool over Whytes eyes and once again Whyte is letting him do it. If whyte let's the unification fight go ahead next there is no guarantee that he will get his shot next, he could be waiting till 2022 for it and Hearn would be happy with that.
