So with all the talks of Usyk moving up to heavyweight, who do we think his next fight will be?

Me personally, I'd like to see Usyk vs Povetkin, I think Povetkin is good enough to time him, but also hits hard enough to spark him out. Additionally, Povetkin has the most devastating and brutal KO reel in the sport at the minute.

I think it won’t be a huge name for his first outing at heavyweight although he is good he will still want to ease into it so I think it will be someone like Dave Allen. Eddie Hearn seems to like Allen, Hearn also will want to build Osyk for bigger fights in the year, so Allen is a name we know and will not be much risk.

After that I think it will be the winner of Whyte vs Chisora. 2019 is looking good though for the heavyweights, some good fights ahead of us hopefully.

I see what you're saying Roro, and it makes total sense, although after watching Dave Allen on the undercard at the weekend, putting him in with Usyk would cement his place in history as another punch drunk boxer. Dave Allen needs to stay well away from styles like Usyk.

Perhaps Jarrell Miller? I mean he only fights tomato cans, so he may as well be considered a tomato can himself.

Hearn said in an interview it might be as soon as 1 or 2 fights till Usyk gets Joshua. If that’s the plan then it’s going to be a big name straight away.

That’s a good point rvd.
Miller is a good shout hsf, I just think though if brook and Khan finally agree to fight which is being talked about for the end of January or start of Feb, this would be a good opportunity to put Osyk in as chief support against a name we know but not a major danger to Osyk.
Then maybe the winner or even the loser of Whyte vs Chisora.
Then possibly fight for a world title later in the year or early 2020.
