Wilders excuses this time around are as follows:

- Bad judging.
- He spent too much time in a Cryochamber before the fight.
- Inactivity.

He also bemoaned the level of opponent, stating that Joshua was fighting a 'sparring partner' where as he had to fight an active former world champion.

He's also stated that he had a mole in Joshua's camp that overheard Joshua and Eddie speaking about how they were going to duck Wilder.

He has tried to back this up by saying "look at how happy Joshua was as he was walking to the ring". Even though Joshua didn't know Wilders result and after the fight he said he'd still fight Wilder.

This is all from an interview he gave with 78SportsTV the day after the fight.

Wilder. Just go away already.

Wilder is finished. He does though have that one punch power, so if he does catch you, it could be over. Other than that, he has no chance against Joshua.
I’d like to see Joshua v Hrgovic next for the IBF belt.
Where does Daniel Dubois go next? I’d like to see him in with someone like Frank Sanchez. He seems to be highly ranked by all organisations. That would be a big test for Dubois

I agree, Wilder is done.

Joshua vs Hrgovic could be tricky. Hrgovic is very similar to Vitali Klitschko in style, should Joshua win that would be a very good win for him.

Dubois is interesting. In my opinion he needs a couple of Miller level fights before he jumps in with someone like Sanchez (who is being avoided by everyone, for good reason) . Idealy I'd like to see his next two fight be with someone like Bakole, Ruiz, Zhang or perhaps a rematch with Joyce. If he gets through those fights then you go for a world title.
