Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I think he could have been better than he was.

I think it was Ed001 who said that he or someone he knows watched him train and he spent 70% of the sparring session posing and flexing lol.

No doubt he was good though, would like to have seen both him and Benn take on the American middleweights at that time, like Toney and RJJ.

I know someone who bumped into him on holiday and at the start they were did excited to see Chris Eubank then they couldn't get rid of him. Apparently he was following them up the beach talking away. Lol

Would love to have seen Eubank and Been vs Rjj or Toney. Don't think any of them really wanted it.

From watching the middleweight special of The Gloves Are Off on skysport a few years back, chris openly admitted to ducking roy. Saying "it would be suicide" to fight him at that time.

They were both champions. Did Eubank duck him or was there no real demand for the fight? As Jones said himself, he had no desire to travel to England and he had Toney and Hopkins while Eubank had Collins Benn and Waston.

Jones Jnr would've schooled Eubank. Eubank was a good fighter but not elite level like Jones Jnr.

Eubank was your typically protected Frank Warren fighter. He only owned the WBO belt, which at the time was not as established as it is now (WBA, WBC and IBF were the big three at the time) . Jones Jnr had no interest in a secondary belt and Eubank had no interest in getting humiliated by Jones Jnr.

Does anyone beat Jones Jr in his prime. Not for me.
