That's the worst refereeing I've seen in the Riston fight tonight. Really dangerous, Steve Grey should be banned.

Corner threw the towel in and the ref threw it back out again, let Ritson get battered for another 30 seconds. Was crazy. Ritson was done at that point, no need to let it continue.

I saw it, what a joke. He allowed 2 more knockdowns to happen after the towel had been thrown in. What the hell.

Think I overreacted by saying Steve Grey should be banned. I take into account what Grey said that it was body shots and Lewis wasn't taking much punishment to the head but it just didn't look right. Riston had nothing left at that point. Had already hit Ponce clean afew times and couldn't put a dent in him. Think it was a moment of madness from Grey although he was within his rights to do so. As Stephen King once said its easy to be brave when your someone else.

The rule needs changed or at least looked at. I understand that the rule is there to stop match fixing but that could have been very dangerous for Ritson on Saturday. When fighters r fatigued like that that's when the head shots take their toll.

To be fair to Steve Gray, he was probably after his fight bonus of an extra few quid if Ritson got the win.
