The mediation stage for Fury vs Wilder III has ended without conclusion. Deontay Wilder and his team will now sue Fury in Arbitration.

I'm not well versed on law or anything like that, however what I was reading is that this means Fury is free to go and fight Joshua, as arbitration is solely about financial issues.

I know Ed002 doesn't frequent the Boxing site, but would be interested to know if I'm on the right lines.

{Ed001's Note - he won't know about boxing regulations mate, he doesn't follow or like the sport.}

I figured he may know about the legal side, not to worry.

There are a lot of youtubers saying that during the mediation, Wilder wanted $32 million from Fury who in turn offered him $10 million.

I'm assuming this is either over a loss of earnings or some contract loophole, but from what I remember when Povetkin sued Wilder for loss of earnings, he was 'only' awarded $3 million in compensation. Now granted that wasn't as big as Fury vs Wilder 3, but 10 times the compensation? Have a day off, $10 million seems very generous if you ask me.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate as it will come down to what the contracts say and I have not seen them.}
