That’s harsh, though Wilder got beaten up badly there.
I wonder if he’ll take the third fight?
He looks several levels below Fury now, once Fury has got himself right.
Wilder v Joshua might be a better option for the American?

I must admit, I let my bias against Wilder get the better of me. I don't wish any ill health on him and do hope he makes a full recovery, but this is a massive moment for Boxing as Wilders reign as champion has been a mess.

I thought wilder although tactically poor was an exciting champion, especially compared to reigns like Klitschkos which bored everyone for a decade.

You're right Roro, they were exciting fights, but that's only because he was given walking punch bags for opponents (Breazeale, Stiverne, Arreola, Duhaupas), part time Boxers (Molina, Washington), unknown entities (Szpilka) .

The only decent names on his resume are Fury and Ortiz. But you could even pick those defenses apart and label them cherry picks, especially the first Fury fight and the second Ortiz fight.

And look who he has avoided in order to fight these people. Whyte, Povetkin, Joshua, Parker, Miller. All at some point called Wilder out, offered a contract or offered an opportunity at unification. Now we see why, because if a "pillow fisted" Fury is able to stop him, imagine Whyte landing a flush left hook or AJ unloading the 4 punch combo that nearly took Klitschko's head off?

Perhaps I am being harsh, as I've mentioned I'm not denying my bias against him. But I've been saying for a while now, that Wilder isn't durable and gets hurt easily.

I am revelling in this a little bit, can you tell? Lol.

Hes lost that sense of invincibility mate so I agree that will be the end of Wilder now.
