Didn't think fury was as good as that, he proved a lot of people wrong there. Brilliant bigman.

115-111 Wilder, seriously? I'm never buying a PPV again.

Absolutely crazy mate, he certainly surprised me.

Although fury won the fight in my eyes, them 2 knockdowns cost him we know how hard it is too get a decision in USA, credit too fury too comeback too perform like that is so commendable.

Ello ed mate I think fury proved tonight he actually is straight from the school of the sweet science, and also has a serious chin on him too get up from that, wow! , I love fury he is a different type of guy he a traveller they have a whole different way an mentality too most but he is hilarious like a 15 year old trapped in a man's body, think his balls only dropped 2 years ago, he had a high pitched voice put the weight on then got all gruff , back too fight he should of took that last round off just kept him at bay, any way boss fight.

{Ed025's Note - i have not seen it yet hailstones, i stayed up till after 3 but could not stay awake any longer mate, i will look at it later on today and see what all the hype was about..

Very proud of fury, I thought he had a chance on points. The knockdowns cost him so much.
If there is a rematch in the uk fury will be favourite in my opinion.

Me too Walter, I reckon a fitter fury in the rematch beats him and then beats AJ. Joshua might be an Olympic gold medallist but I don't think he's a good boxer tbh.

Agreed Roro, I do like joushua though. Not as good as he is hyped up to be. Tyson I feel would win on points.

Well I was wrong. but right as I said if it goes to points it was no forgone conclusion like many fury backers were making out. I scored it 114-112 fury. It wasn’t as wide as Bt sport were making out and the first five rounds were very subjective. However you can’t take a title if you have been put on your hoop twice the second time very heavily! Big credit to fury and the ref because in previous wilder fights the ref has stopped it after similar knock downs. He got up and was on the front foot after wilder gassed. Wilders boxing skills are no better than you or i. Something I will add is that some have comended fury’s chin? Really it’s naff, glass almost. When he got caught he went down so naff chin heart of a lion and that’s where I tip my hat. Agreed anywhere else then fury wins! Also I thought he handled himself in the aftermath was very respectable and there I tip my hat also. AJ is beatable but I think he is atm a step on from both. But there’s 3 very different styles there and all could pose a problem to each. But I fell that AJ can box far better than wilder and hits as heavy I believe his movement and footwork is worse than fury’s but he’s got enough to close the gap, work the body and physically overpower fury. But after last night he warrants a shot at AJ.

Another thing I might add is that the opinion of anyone fury and wilder respected each other and deep down fury knows it wasn’t as a perfect a display it could have been for him and not a deserved as should be attempt when your trying to snatch a belt of a champion on his home turf.

Wilder's performance last night might entice aj into really forcing to face him in April. Wilder's skills r poor I agree but I still reckon he lands on aj and stops him.

Fury's chin is naff? Are you serious?! That's just as bad as your bigoted comment in another thread.

Was that fury at 100%? Maybe performance wise yes, but physically no. I just watched the fight again with a clear head instead of last night with one eye open. A draw was not far away from the right decision. Although when the champion scores 2 knock downs and still only gets a draw in his own country shows how dominant his opponent was in the other rounds. Give fury another training camp or 2 and he will be even better than he has been.

I think Fury can step it up a notch Roro, if you're not physically fit, you won't perform your best.

If Fury hands down beat Wilder like this, then when he's physically at 100% he'll be faster, more reactive, punching more accurately, better co-ordinated footwork, timing improvement.
There is a lot that will improve as he regains his fitness.

15.) 03 Dec 2018
03 Dec 2018 11:48:13
No one would listen to me Roro, that's a guy who lost 10 stone and had 3 years out and still nearly done the business, Fury with another stone off him and more endurance training will beat Wilder with a shut out next time, only the ring rust and the extra timber made him get caught with the two knockdown shots, a sharper Fury would have avoided them, can you imagine what he'll be like when fully fit?

I haven’t seen the contest but you have to admire Fury and the way he has come back from his problems.
Having said that, I’m not convinced he’s the best advert for post-depression.
He reminds me of Gazza.

I don’t think his chin is great. I think his resolve is great for getting up but hey ho. It’s ok for fury to spout his homophobic nonsense though. But in fairness he looks like he has matured a bit.

There is no shame in getting dropped in the heavyweights all the great champions have been stopped or dropped before.
