anyone else glad to see Mayweather is set to retire according to his manager? Good riddance, you were a blight on the sport for years.

Well, according to Slysports, Manny is in negotiations for a rematch.

Manny is in talks with Amir Khan now and has pretty much ruled out a rematch with Floyd 'run rabbit' Mayweather now.

I suspected it would end in nothing. Khan will get smashed against Manny.

About 6 years ago,I was a member of a boxing forum where a girl called Natasha Aiello would go to the wild card gym when roach was training both manny and khan. She'd post 5 minute videos of their sparring when one had a match coming up. Even though sparring isn't gungho and 100% (or meant to be) You still saw the difference in their class and it was embarrassing,Khan for me hasn't progressed at all since those days,possibly he's regressed in terms of skill. Every video would start the same,footwork jabs,khan would land a few good shots whilst manny concentrated on his defence(which freddie insisted on as thast was his weakness) Khan would really start unloading,then manny would get tired of khan thinking he was billy big bollocks for landing on him and just deliver a crisp left or uppercut and it would completely wobble khan,and then they'd go back to pitty patty sparring.

A long as manny has retained only 10% of that ability the manny khan match will not even come close to contest,they are WORLD'S apart as fighters.

{Ed001's Note - I would agree on that, Khan has never been even close to a tenth as good as he thinks he is. Add that to a glass jaw and it is difficult to see why he is still getting hyped.}
